Thanks for sharing the additional websites. I particularly liked viewing the Early Childhood Development Coalition. I am going to look at it more extensively. It seems like a great organization and maybe something I would want to share with the Systems of Education here in Teton County.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your resources. I really enjoyed looking at the Early Childhood Development Coalition website. I loved looking at all the information and found it very informative!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the opening quote for the early childhood development coalition. I feel as though that is something that I have heard so often. People outside of the file often assume that professionals working with young children are simply playing or babysitting all day long. As we all know this is not the case and there is so much more involved when working with small children.
ReplyDeleteIda I love the statement on the Field of Early Childhood Education and Care's website. Its said that people still view us as "babysitters" even after they know the educational requirements that we have to meet. I just recently had to tell a friend the difference between a babysitter and a child care provider. Its saddening because people expect their children to be taught but the still don't respect the professionalism of Early Childhood Education.
ReplyDeleteI like looking at websites that I knew nothing about and can share with other professionals in the field. Your additional resources are just that. Thanks for the additional resources.
